The Rotary Club of Mosman is organising a series of fundraising events to support a vital cause—sending a much-needed mobile ultrasound machine to a children’s hospital in Ukraine.

This essential equipment will greatly improve the hospital’s ability to diagnose and treat children suffering from serious medical conditions, including brain and spinal cord cancer. The ongoing war in Ukraine has made access to medical resources even more difficult, with many young patients now displaced from their homes and separated from family, some having one or both parents serving on the front lines.
The mobile ultrasound unit will play a crucial role in delivering faster and more accurate medical assessments, particularly in areas where traditional hospital infrastructure has been damaged or overwhelmed.
Through its fundraising efforts, the Rotary Club of Mosman hopes to not only send the equipment but also raise awareness about the growing medical needs of children affected by war.
“We believe every child deserves access to proper medical care, regardless of the circumstances,” said a club spokesperson. “This initiative is about delivering hope and healing.”
The club invites the wider community to support the upcoming events and help make a lasting difference in the lives of these vulnerable children.
