Our club has been one of the leading service organizations in Sydney since it was formed on the North Shore on 1st January 1961. In more than sixty years of continuous service we’ve been through a lot of changes to stay relevant. We see an exciting future ahead of us.
Members contribute their time, energy and passion to sustainable, long term projects within Australia, across the globe, and within our local community. Each project has its own specific humanitarian aims but common to all is a desire to make the world a better place. Mosman Rotary Club members have been supporting the training of Hand Surgeons in Vietnam for 25 years now under an annual visit program to run clinics and courses.
Courses are well attended with an average of 60 to 80 surgeons from across the country. They have conducted tendon repair, fracture fixation and microsurgery workshops, treated hundreds of patients and taught a range of hand surgery techniques to the Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgeons attending.
