Hera Pre-School in Timor Thrives with Support from Mosman Rotary

HERA, TIMOR-LESTE — The Hera Pre-School project, a long-standing initiative supported by the Rotary Club of Mosman, continues to flourish, delivering vital early childhood education to the community. In a heartfelt message, the staff at Hera expressed their gratitude to the club, applauding the incredible work done in Sydney that is now inspiring hope and opportunity for a new generation in Timor-Leste.

Message from Timor-Leste

“We from Hera Pre-school would like to congratulate Mosman Rotary,” the message reads. “Your incredible work in Timor-Leste is valuable for our new generation here to see their brilliant future.”

Thanks to ongoing assistance, the Pre-school is now well-established and continues to grow. The team at Hera emphasised their dedication to building strong foundations for local children, while calling for continued support to expand the program’s impact.

Photos received from the project highlight the positive changes — smiling children, new learning materials, and a thriving Pre-school environment — all testament to the power of collaboration and global goodwill.

“This is another result of a great initiative by our Club,” said a spokesperson from the Rotary Club of Mosman. “It’s heartening to see real change happening on the ground.”

The project stands as a proud example of international community service at work.
