Tom and Marie are doing well. Tom has a new pair of AFOs – that’s ankle foot orthosis which is like a soft shell that fits inside a shoe for support. He needs to wear that for 6 months when he gets home. He can walk around a little now, a bit unstable like toddler learning to walk again. His wound is healing still so we can’t send them home just yet. We think it may take another couple of weeks before he is clear to go.
It’s wonderful to see his mum so happy. It’s his birthday on 11th July: all of 3 years old. He has his lovely Duplo gift from Mosman Rotary Club that I am sure he will appreciate. Stand by for more pics.
