Zoom Presentation for Successful Aboriginal Program

We have received an email from Bob Selinger, Coordinator First Nations’ Partnership Programs, Rotary Club of North Ryde:

If there is one thing we have all learnt from the The Voice referendum it is that pretty well all Australians want to see improvements in the disadvantages that a large number of Aboriginal people are subjected to. We in District 9685 have seen a number of successful programs that are moving towards “closing the gap,” albeit over the longer term.

You are cordially invited to join Pam Pritchard of Turramurra Rotary in her presentation on the successful implementation of “Books in Homes” at Moree East Public School. We know that literacy is one of the keys to a child’s future prospects.

“Books in Homes” illustrates how bringing together several Clubs to work on the same project can bring about important positive change.
