Dear Rotary,
We’re visiting our son who lives here now with his family. One of the highlights of our visits here is walking along the esplanade – a pleasure in any circumstance, but the pleasure has increased tenfold with the discovery of the beach status sign above the wishing well. I’m a retired English teacher and if any of my students had described the ocean as radiant, or today’s whopper – COMELY – I’d have retired on the spot, knowing my job was done. Please extend our thanks to the sign writer.I take a photo every day and I’m sending them to the lifeguard station at our wharf, where our sea conditions are posted, with the admonition that they need to up their game.Again, thanks!
