We have to thank Hans Kunnen for his personal account of that historic day 21 years ago. I believe we all have stark memories of that day that changed so many lives.
It is hard to imagine how we individually would feel if we had witnessed first-hand such a tragic event. His presentation was indeed emotional. The character of New York changed from that day forward.
As someone who used to visit New York on business in the 1980s and who dined at Windows on the World which was the dining complex on Level 107 of the North Tower, I was deeply moved by his description of how that destruction took place. Also his gratitude to the American lady who gave him a place to stay and helped him recover from that horrific event
We trust that such a tragic event will never be repeated in our lifetime, thank you Hans for your story
