Mosman Rotary Club has decided to sponsor a child seat in conjunction with the Play for All Australia’s program “Play it Forward”.

The Mosman Council and Mosman Chamber of Commerce partnership with social enterprise Play For All Australia will replace low-back infant swing seats with an Australian-made inclusive high-back version so all children can participate in play.
Through the “Play it Forward” campaign, businesses that want to support inclusion within the community can sponsor the installation of a swing at a playground in Mosman and in return have their name on the back of their sponsored seat and be included in a digital marketing and community engagement campaign.

The official launch for all Play it Forward Swing sites in Mosman was held last Friday with President Mark Wallis representing Mosman Rotary. Play For All Australia “dialled-up” social inclusion by setting up a tech-enabled inclusive infant swing seat at Balmoral Beach Playground which will visibly promote the program both online and in the local community.
The tech-enabled swing has a built-in counter that will record every swing providing a fun and interactive way for the community to join the cause because the more swings made on it, the faster the sponsored inclusive swing seat upgrades will be unlocked across the community.
Play it Forward helps educate the community on the importance of inclusion and this wonderful initiative has brought together business and families in a way that benefits both, with many of our local businesses welcoming the opportunity to be involved.
Local businesses including Bendigo Community Bank, Di Jones, Harris Farm Markets, Rotary Club of Mosman, Mosman Council, Music N’ Me, Mosman Toyota, The Works and Vine Apparel have sponsored seats, as well as have Mosman Council and Play for All
