Felicity Wilson, our local member for North Sydney, is a proud Rotarian. In a recent speech to NSW Parliament (8 September) she began by saying:
“I have deep pride in and heartfelt appreciation for the three wonderful Rotary clubs that call my electorate of North Shore home: Mosman, Crows Nest and North Sydney Sunrise. As we all know, Rotary is so much more than a service organisation; it is a global movement of 1.4 million people who see a need and step up to help. It is formed of people who act with compassion, lead with integrity and bring communities together. For many people in my electorate, being a Rotarian is a calling. The strength of their work, whether it is local or international, reminds us all of the power of collective goodwill”.
