ANGELO RAVEANE – RYLA PROGRAM EAST TIMOR UPDATE

Our club was very pleased to see Angelo’s familiar face again last Monday 28 November as he recapped the history of Timor and its regions, and most specifically to give us his update on the RYLA – Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Program and his involvement in East Timor.

The profound impact that this program has had on the youth in East Timor was evident in a video shown by Angelo during his update.  His work, together with fellow RotarianTheo Glockerman is truly inspirational.

Angelo is the recipient of the prestigious Rotarian Vocational Excellence Award – The Graham Turnidge Shield – awarded for enhancing the image of Rotary through commitment, integrity and excellence in his vocation and service to Rotary.
