A TRIBUTE TO A GREAT HUMAN BEING

PP Mark had an entry in the DG Newsletter:
It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of Professor Mary Louise McLaws today. You may well of heard this news on the news programs. I am hoping you could see fit to write something in your DG Newsletter. Professor McLaws was presented with a “Vocational Excellence” award (nominated by Mosman Rotary) from  PDG Mina at Cowra last year. The professor made the trip via a chauffeured car arranged by Mosman Rotary, with her daughter & son-in-law accompanying her. She was quite unwell at that time but made the effort to come & receive her award for which we were most grateful & honoured. We, Mosman Rotary, had a long standing relationship with the Professor & her husband, Richard Flook.

Australia has lost a most distinguished & wonderful human being with the Professors passing.

Mary-Louise was a recipient of the District Vocational Excellence Award at Cowra and really struggled to attend. So very sad to hear.  Mina Howard PDG
