Monday 27th February Shirley Owles, Di McKenzie-Rabu, Brian Owles and Dominique Rabu presented a cheque for $12.000, to Bear Cottage, result of the Christmas Raffle and a contribution from our club funds.
|
We had the great privilege to visit this great institution.
|
Bear Cottage is the only children’s hospice in NSW - a very special place that’s dedicated to caring for children with life-limiting conditions. Families who care for a child with a life-limiting condition often do so around the clock for many years. Bear Cottage's vision is to be as far removed from a hospital environment as possible. It is set up to provide excellence in paediatric palliative care 24 hours a day, and Bear Cottage's affiliation to The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network means that Bear Cottage has access to some of the best medical ressources of the world.
