Thanks to our President Mark and organised by Ms Felicity Wilson MP, Tuesday 9th August 8 members of Our Club, Rotary Club of Mosman had the privilege to visit the NSW Parliament and attend Question Time.
This was greatly appreciated, and the eight members enjoyed a great day of fellowship.

Rae and I are ‘settled’ in our two-bedroom home unit at ‘Maritimo’ a ground level complex of 30 units on rising ground on The Strand in Williamstown.
Not a fair swap from South West Rocks but there we are.
I have taken leave for 12 Months from our Rotary Club and have been attending the Williamstown Rotary Club, a mixed club, smaller than Mosman, and have made some friends there.
Rae and I attended their Changeover Dinner, more informal than Mosman, but friendly and Rae met some of the ladies in the Club and partners of fellows.
The President and Club Service Director are members of a Wednesday morning (Tee off at 8.30 am!!) golfing group of 10-12 and have asked me to join.
Our daughter Melanie and family is five minutes away and younger son Daniel is on the Bellarine Peninsula near Barwon Heads on 30 odd acres.
His wife Amy has been appointed CEO of Equestrian Victoria and will start a Riding School to train horses and adults in Dressage and Event Riding.
In all while I left Point Cook 60 years ago, never to return here we are after 59 years of wedded bliss!!
We will be back in Mosman on Monday evening for ten days and then again in September for a couple of weeks.
We look forward to catching up again.

Bob (spelt with one ‘O’) gave us a tremendously entertaining and informative presentation on how to “Be StrokeSafe”
Bob Sudol speaks from his own experience having suffered a stroke in his late thirties – a long and arduous journey back to good health including re-learning to talk, walk, and carry out the most fundamental activities of his day to day life.

On 2 August we were visited by Rotarian PHF Saritha Sugunan . Saritha proudly advised us that her Rotary Club is the first unisex club to have an all woman Board this year. Her club is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu India.
There is a funny story worth re-telling about Secretary Graeme and Assistant Secretary Dom’s initial response to our club being approached by Saritha – but best re-told face to face!
