MOSMAN MARKETS 6 APRIL 2024

A very successful selling day given the bad weather forecast the day before ….we made around $800 with combined sales of Jigsaws and Mosman Tea Towels, including two donations. Thanks for fellow Rotarians who volunteered on the day.

And some comments from Markets organiser Ross:

A thank you to all members who supported our Rotary activities at the Mosman Market today.

A particular thank you to Derek for transporting all our goods to and from the market.

After incredible heavy rains on Friday and early Saturday morning , the day turned into dazzling sunshine .

We had a good result particularly market attendance was down as many people would have been put off by the Friday forecasts .

Derek can provide an exact amount , but we raised some $800 with sales of tea towels and jigsaws and some donations. The day did confirm that we have a winner with Di’s tea towels , and the jigsaws continue to sell consistently .

We had some excellent interaction with community members on Rotary , and our mayor visited our stand for some time.

Another update on ONELAND

A message from OneLand’s Susie Agoston:

We had great success last weekend - the truck left on Monday morning and everything was delivered to two communities by Tuesday morning.

We hired a van for the extra donations, storing them at a friend’s garage until 20 April when I’ll be driving to Collarenebri to organise activities with the children in the school holidays.

Thank you for your support and donations - every help is very greatly appreciated.
