Monday’s Meeting

On Monday there will be a club forum with PP Graeme presenting a summary of the last board meeting. We will also be inducting our newest member, John Gressler.

Update on recent fundraising

At this weeks board meeting your board followed through on fund raising commitments:

Christmas Raffle: the $9000 raised will go to Women’s Refuge charities, 50% to Mary’s House and 50% to Women and Children First.

Australia Day BBQ: The $5250 raised will be split between the Melonoma Institue and The Hera Project. We will be adding the current year proceeds from the Wishing Well ($995) to the Melonoma Inst segment, a total donation of $3250. The remaining $$2750 will contribute to funding re desks and other equipment for the Hera school.

I’m at Arita at Hiro’s family Porcelain Factory - it’s huge ! They employ over 50 workers
A trip from Tokyo with Haruto to a Strawberry Farm- eat as many as you like
Also went to the Starbucks Roasting Plant - amazing
Haruto got his exams results and he has graduated! Hiro has 1 year to go
Followed by a trip to Nagasaki- Rotary is everywhere!
