Over the last few weeks Di and Dom have been working on an explanatory handout to coincide with the Festival of Mosman. The plan is to print double sided A3 sheets and then cut them down to make 3 handouts per sheet approx 200cm x 90cm. The final wording is still being finalised but will be along the following lines:

Following our sponsorship o f the festival, we will be holding a sausage sizzle on the opening night. Our trusty BBQ heroes, David and Mark W, will be organizing this but many pairs of hands will be needed to help dish up the sausages and drinks to the many attendees.
And just to compete with us the Mackie Lane Community Garden is having an open day with garden displays and activities for children.

Another fantastic effort organized by Dave and Mark W. Lots of member participation. Although it can be pretty intense from time to time it’s an enjoyable opportunity to work together and at the same time raise funds for our projects.
As before we had a bit of trouble with the EFTPOS m/c running out of charge. The electrical supply near the bbq had been removed but Graeme solved the issue by getting an inverter and using a car battery as a power source.
Total funds raised was around $2500 which after expenses left us with a surplus for projects of around $1700.
