The Rotary Club of Mosman wishes to thank Kennard’s Storage Artarmon for their support in providing storage for our Club and Hotel Mosman for their continuing donation of funds to assist us support our local community.

Donna Braye is the Local Studies Coordinator, Mosman Library. A position Donna has very efficiently held for a number of years.
|
Back in our early Mosman Jigsaw Puzzle planning days, Donna was extremely supportive when the Project Team approached her for assistance with selection of early Mosman photos from the ever expanding Local Studies Collection. She is also instrumental in keeping an archive of Mosman Rotary documents including copies of OoZoO going back to the formation of the club.

She will be speaking on Monday about the library’s work on the background to local people and events.
|

Our joint presidents met the incoming mayor of Mosman, Anne Marie Kimber, recently to give her a briefing on our club activities past, present and expectations for the future.

I am very late this year, but want to pass along the thanks of the Mosman Library team for your support of this year’s Mosman Youth Awards in Literature (MYAL). We had over 300 entries this year, and a lovely awards evening in August. All prize money and prizes came directly from the sponsorship, so literally the awards could not have happened without your support.

Thanks again for your ongoing support of both Mosman Library and young writers in NSW, it is genuinely appreciated.

Further to our recent donation of $750 to assist our local charity, OneLand, to take goods to Mungindi , PP Di reports:

This is to extend a BIG THANK YOU to all those who contributed clothing to OneLand for the annual trip to far north west NSW in aid of assisting our Aboriginal communities with clothing for Men and Boys, particularly with end-of-year formals, birthday and Christmas gatherings and sadly funerals. This year The Truck will travel to Mungindi. Should there be any goods over, they will be distributed to Bourke.
