To mark the anniversary President Richard Vahtrick entertained Mosman Rotary with his experience as one of the Olympic relay torch bearers. Runners were presented with their torches to keep as a memento of the experience.
Richard’s route was in SE Queensland and he got off the runners’ bus to meet his family in Bundaberg. He was very surprised there to find himself the toast of the town being mobbed by strangers all wanting a selfie with him and the torch!
